PROPHETIC STUFF....
The Foreign Affairs Council of the EU will meet in Brussels on 7-8 December after which a statement on the Mideast policy will be made. The main topic on the agenda is the situation in the Middle East & the peace process. PA leader Mahmoud Abbas has made it plain that the Palestinians will not sign another interim agreement, and that they consider full occupation preferable to partial peace. UN Ban Ki-Moon is reported as stating "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas have publicly committed to a two-State solution, formal talks have been suspended for almost a year."
NATO will hold a meeting on December 7 to raise forces for Afghanistan (Reuters). The Obama administration's new Afghanistan strategy will involve 30,000 additional U.S. troops, an Afghan civilian surge, and broader assistance to Pakistan. The Foreign Ministers will discuss EU support for American efforts towards peace and the EU’s own role in the “peace” process.
"One European official in Tel Aviv, speaking on background, says that the EU position on Jerusalem does not represent a radical change, but is rather an attempt to show the Palestinians that they have international support for their claim to East Jerusalem as their future capital. In so doing, they hoped to draw Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas back to the negotiating table, despite the fact that the settlement freeze that Netanyahu announced last week did not include East Jerusalem – a prerequisite to peace talks that Mr. Abbas has insisted on." Indeed much is happening. Is this the ground work towards the "peace" which will be the start of the tribulation as per the bible?
'Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.'
